The Hinokinopla Bento Box is an eco-friendly Japanese lunch box made of Japanese hinoki cypress and plastic.
Hinoki cypress has excellent anti-bacterial properties so it is an ideal material for a bento box. However, hinoki bento boxes are not microwavable.
Hakoya has solved this problem by creating a new material combining real hinoki cypress wood and plastic. The result is a microwavable Japanese lunch box that combines the natural antibacterial effect of hinoki cypress with the durability of plastic.
The box has two compartments inside to separate the ingredients and a band to close it.
