These Sekimagoroku kitchen scissors by leading Japanese kitchenware and knife manufacturer KAI are built for heavy-duty kitchen cutting.
They feature a very thick blade that is difficult to bend, even when cutting hard items like konbu seaweed. The super-sharp blade is slightly serrated to prevent food from slipping under pressure.
These scissors can easily be taken apart for thorough separate cleaning and drying. The blades are made from stainless cutlery steel and the handle is heat resistant up to 100 degrees celsius.
The Sekimagoroku line is KAI’s signature blade line, named after legendary sword maker Kanemoto Magoroku.
