The Myojo Chukazanmai series is one of the sub-brands of instant noodles manufacturer Myojo.
Japanese cuisine and Chinese cruising have been linked for decades, and there’s no greater demonstration of that bond than these Shisen Hanten tantanmen. Instant ramen, a Japanese dish inspired by Chinese cuisine, featuring traditional Chinese flavors inspired by one of Japan’s most famous Sichaun restaurants.
These noodles have a recipe that has been supervised by Akasaka Szechwan Restaurant, or Shisen Hanten, an renowned traditional Sichuan (Szechwan) restaurant with 14 branches across Japan. These tantanmen combine the rich umami of a pork-based broth with the spiciness of Sichuan chili oil and toasty dark-roasted sesame to create an incredibly deep and well-balanced soup that clings to the chewy non-fried noodles.
Put the noodles into 450ml (approx. 15 us fl oz.) of hot water and cook them for 3 minutes while unraveling them.
Add the flavoring sachets and stir, then transfer the noodles to your bowl. Add some toppings like meat and vegetables to make this ramen tastier and heartier.
