Welcome to the Japanese Taste website! If you’re new around here, our goal bring the best of Japan to our customers. You may be familiar with Japanese Taste as a website where you can purchase all of your favorite Japanese products, but we also want to spread knowledge about Japanese culture to the world. We aim to share more about Japan, including its history, culture, and traditions.

About Our Blog

Our blog is a special place to us where we love to talk about anything and everything related to Japan. Here on our blog, we aim to introduce all types of topics related to Japan such as food, beauty, travel, recipes, and more. We aim to hit a vast range of topics and types of articles. 

Whether you’re looking for a particular Japanese product to buy, or you’re interested in a particular topic related to Japan, or you simply want to learn something new, we hope that you can find exactly what you’re looking for on our blog. 

We’re constantly trying to come up with ideas that our readers are interested in, so if there’s any topic(s) that you’d like us to write about, we’d love to hear from you! 

About Our Recipes

In addition to articles, we also share Japanese recipes on our blog. You can find recipes ranging from side dishes, salads, main courses, traditional sweets, baked goods, and more!  All of our recipes are made by Japanese content creators who grew up eating and are quite familiar with Japanese cuisine.

It is important to us that our recipes can be as accurately portrayed yet written in an easy-to-understand way. We also want to share Japanese recipes that can be easily made at home. If there is any particular recipe you’d like us to share, let us know!

Our Team For the Japanese Taste blog, our team consists of 8 professional writers (but we are growing!) who all have had experience living in Japan for an extended period of time.

As we want to portray the most accurate information about Japan, it is important to us that our writers are passionate about Japanese culture and have actually experienced it for themselves. We don’t just choose any experienced writer to join our team, it is important that our whole team is passionate about Japan – whether it be food or culture. Each writer also has their own particular niche of Japanese culture that they feel passionate about. This is so that we can provide you with a wide array of Japan-related content.

The Publishing Process 

All of our articles go through multiple stages of revision before they are uploaded to the
Japanese Taste blog. As our mission is to post only the highest quality of articles, we do not publish anything we don’t feel 100% confident in. We also strive for our content to be
informative yet as easy to understand as possible. When you come to our blog, we want you to leave feeling that you’ve become an expert in a given topic. (Take, shoyu for example.) 

All of the articles are proofread and checked by our content team for clarity before being
published. No article is published without being proofread at least twice. All of the topics and articles that we talk about are decided by our in house content marketing team. All of our articles are based on research and outlines made from complete scratch also by the content marketing team before being passed along to our writers. They dedicate hours to days writing quality pieces so that we can publish interesting and informative articles. We do not tolerate plagiarism or copying from other sources at any time.
