This is an assortment of four different mochi snacks that are ideal for enjoying the flavor of Japanese domestic rice and the tasty ingredients mixed with it. Enjoy the mochi’s signature chewiness with your first bite, and then the fantastic flavor of the other ingredients spreading through your mouth afterward.
This type of mochi food is called kaki mochi: a dried, sliced mochi rice cake that is normally either fried or grilled before eating. In most cases, kakimochi is mixed with other ingredients to make it diverse in flavor and appearance.
This product comes with four flavors, the most popular kakimochi varieties: yomogi, black soybean, shrimp, and sesame. Try them all and find your favorite flavor.
To grill this mochi in a toaster oven, heat it for around 4-7 minutes, then leave it for an additional minute before removing.
To cook it in a frying pan, heat a small amount of oil and place the mochi on top. Cook for approximately 3 minutes, flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
To heat it in a microwave, place the mochi in a small bowl filled with water, so that it is completely submerged. Microwave for approximately 1.5 to 2 minutes.
