Making cold brew iced tea just got so much easier with this fantastic cold brew tea bottle from Hario. Its large capacity can hold up to 1200ml, and it's as simple as mixing tea leaves with water.
The bottle has a built-in filter, so that you don't even need to worry about straining anything, just pour the ice-cold tea right into your cup. In addition, its super stylish design is not only chic, but functional. Its square shape makes it easy to store in the fridge, whether you want to put it on the shelf with the milk cartons, or lay it horizontally - it won't roll away.
Place 8-11 tea spoons of loos tea leaves into the bottle. Fill the bottle with water up to the top measurement marking (1200ml). Put the rubber seal onto the filter, then attach the filter to the bottle top. Secure the top of the bottle by twisting until tight. Put in the refrigerator and allow to brew for 3 to 6 hours. After this, simply remove the cap and serve.

I am usually very happy with all of the items purchased from Japanese Taste. When I purchased this bottle I was under the impression it would be glass, just like the cold brew coffee ones. When I received it and found out it was plastic, I was surprised and disappointed. The description does not say glass, but it also does not say plastic. So it is easy to assume it would be same as the coffee glass ones. I hope Japanese Taste will change the description to be more specific for other customers. It is also surprising that is costs more for this plastic bottle than the glass ones.
