This Red Garlic Chili Oil is the spicier version of their original Kuro Mayu or Black Garlic Oil. Black garlic oil, is a staple seasoning in Kumamoto Prefecture, and locals enjoy it by adding it to its specialty dish: tonkostu ramen. A teaspoonful of this spicy black garlic oil will transform anything your cooking instantly and make it even more delicious.
Horiuchi Oil is a long-running oil manufacturer that specializes in the production of oil products with old-fashioned methods. Although their traditional expression process is unsuitable for mass production, it allows the oil to keep its original taste and aroma without destroying its nutritional qualities, so you can experience a purely-natural flavor.
This chili ma-yu oil is comprised only of their organic canola oil, garlic, and chili peppers picked from Kumamoto; no additives are included in this product.
It goes perfect with ramen noodles, especially tonkotsu and soy sauce flavors.
You can use this ma-yu as a finishing seasoning for stir-fry dishes, or a secret ingredient of gyoza filling.
