House Shichimi Togarashi are mixed spices that are fully made from ingredients produced in Japan. A sprinkle of this product allows you to create dishes with a rich aroma and spicy kick.
The shichimi togarashi refers to a mixture of seven ingredients in which one of these is commonly red chili pepper. It is said that the combination of ingredients varies between manufacturers; in case of this product, it consists of roasted chili pepper, chimpi (dried mandarin orange peel), sansho pepper, white/black sesame seeds, aonori seaweed flakes, green perilla, and ginger. Its aroma is excellent, and pairs well with udon noodles, tonjiru (pork miso soup), kinpira gobo (braised burdock root), and more.
