Denemon is a long-established soy product brewery from the Edo period located in Taketoyo town, Aichi prefecture. They have focused on creating the highest quality soy sauce and miso products for the past 6 generations.
This 3 year aged Natural Miso Paste is made only from 100% domestically produced soybeans and sun-dried salt. These ingredients are aged inside of cedar barrels for 3 years, allowing the flavors to slowly and naturally mature.
This Japanese miso paste has a dark color, and an intense flavor. Use it to create a rich miso soup, or to add an extra layer of umami flavor to other dishes.
It includes neither wheat nor alcohol, so it is acceptable for people with a gluten allergy or those who cannot consume alcohol for health or religious reasons.
