As traditional a soft cake as you would find. Soft, sweet, but not overly so, filled with an apple compote of sorts; apple pieces (no skins) finely diced in an apple jelly of sorts. Maybe a teaspoon’s worth inside? Delicious and satiating. I have ordered and reordered. Tastes very fresh, never stale.
