Suisouen Organic Oolong Tea is a fantastic semi-fermented tea grown naturally and organically in Japan. Oolong tea is mainly produced in China and Taiwan, so you may be surprised to see Japanese oolong. However, oolong is one of the most popular types of tea in Japan, thanks to its slightly lower caffeine content and gentle flavor.
All the leaves of this rare and limited Japanese organic oolong tea have been sourced domestically in Japan and are completely organic. Suisouen created this oolong tea using a special pressurization method that speeds along the natural oxidization of the tea leaves. Oolong is far more sweet than typical black or green tea, and as much less bitterness and astringency.
The package is resealable to keep the tea bags fresh. The triangular tea bags have neither tags nor string so you can put them into the teapot right away, or take the whole bag with you to work or on the go.
Place two tea bags in a bot of water and boil on the stovetop for around five minutes. Alternatively, place one tea bag into a tea pot, cover with boiling water, and allow to steep. After brewing, feel free to chill for a tasty iced tea.
