Kunitaro is a respected Japanese beverage company known for its rich tea-making heritage and innovative approach to flavor extraction. Established in the late 1950s, the brand specializes in green tea, black tea, coffee, and rooibos tea, with its signature deep-steamed green tea standing out for its rich aroma, mild astringency, and vibrant dark green color.

Kunitaro also sells premium nori seaweed, a tradition that began with the founder Kunitaro Nakamura, who adopted the custom of tea sellers in East Japan pairing green tea with nori during the 1960s.
