For making soup (per person): simmer one dashi packet in 150 to 200ml of water over medium heat until boiling, once boiling, shake the bag a few times to release flavor. Reduce heat and simmer until the soup is as rich as you’d like it.
You can use the soup for many dishes such as udon noodles, miso soup, stir-fried vegetables, etc.
