- Microwave: Place approx. 30g of mochi in a bowl of water. Microwave for 40-60 seconds (20-30 seconds if using hot water).
- Toaster oven: Place approx. 30g of mochi in the toaster oven for 4-6 minutes. Turn off the heat, and leave for 1-2 minutes before removing.
