When using for the first time, please clean with a neutral kitchen detergent and season with oil. After the first use, refrain from washing with detergent.
To season, add 3-4 tablespoons of oil to the pan, and heat over low for approximately 3 minutes. Turn off the heat, and pour the oil into a separate container. Gently mop up the remaining oil in the pan with paper towel. After the first use, seasoning won't be required again unless the pan is washed with soap. In which case, please repeat these steps.
To clean after cooking, when the pan is still warm, gently wash (without detergent) under lukewarm water. Scrub with a gentle sponge or brush. Make sure to completely dry before storing in a dry place.
Avoid cooking at extremely high temperatures (medium works best with this type of pan), and avoid prolonged exposure to especially acidic foods. If cooking with acidic or overly salty items, wash the pan quickly after cooking.
